This was taken at the old bench in Grassington, back when the three of us were still learning as we went and our mother was still correcting us. We spent long afternoons together, surrounded by half-finished pieces, worn tools and little trays filled with stones and findings. She taught us to notice the details others might overlook. The weight of a clasp, the texture of a surface, and the way a small piece of jewellery can carry a whole memory.

That way of working has stayed with us ever since. Jewellery was never about status in our family. It was about meaning, sentiment and the quiet pleasure of wearing something that feels entirely your own.

Every Edith, Nell & Rose piece still begins with that same spirit: the three of us together, considering every detail and creating jewellery designed to be cherished, worn often and kept for years.

Sterling silver, moonstone, garnet and freshwater pearl. Nothing we would not wear ourselves, and nothing we cannot trace back to suppliers we know and trust. We choose each material slowly and deliberately, paying close attention to its origin, character and how it will age over time.

By working in small quantities, using only what we need and finishing every important detail by hand, we create jewellery that is not only beautiful and made to last, but considered from the very beginning.

We keep the collection small and check every piece by hand before it leaves us. If it is not right, it does not go out. It is a promise we made to one another from the beginning and one we have never been willing to compromise.

We wear our jewellery ourselves, so every piece must feel comfortable, personal and genuinely worth keeping. Only when all three of us are happy with it does it become part of the Edith, Nell & Rose collection.

Every order arrives in our reusable green box, with a protective pouch and card, carefully packed using recycled materials. Everything is chosen to be kept, reused or easily recycled, so your jewellery feels special without creating unnecessary waste.

If it is a gift, we can also add a handwritten note with your own words, making it personal, thoughtful and ready to give from the moment it arrives.

The workshop is part of the household. Children and grandchildren are in and out of it all week, and always have been. Stopping for a chat, lending a hand or sharing their thoughts on a new design.
